What Can I expect at Chapel Next?
We are like most "Christian" type churches, but different. We are informal, so feel free to wear your favorite jeans. The service is designed to engage you. We have live music; we use video clips, drama team, graphical projections, etc. We want you to leave every Sunday recharged with God's word so that you may be a light in your community. We have no membership rules or regulations and we are open to all people desiring a closer walk with Christ.
Why is it called Chapel Next?
We called it Chapel Next because there is always more to our continued walk with Christ. Although God's love expressed through Jesus Christ never changes, His ways of communicating do change. We want the front edge of communication, speaking to today's concerns in today's language. We are also a part of the US Army's chapel system.
What if I'm not sure if I believe?
Chapel Next is just right for you. We think you will be comfortable watching, listening, learning and developing relationships with believers. We understand that everyone is on a spiritual journey and we work hard to ensure you feel safe as you explore what God has in store for your life. We believe in loving you, not pushing you, into the family of God.
What can I expect when I visit?
You can expect a body of people who will welcome you with open arms. You can expect relevant teaching by leaders who "connect" and are interested in getting to know you. You can expect great music and worship in a contemporary style. You can expect people who will help you know more of God's purpose for you in this place.

How do I get there to Chapel Next? Is there transportation?
We meet at the Youth Activities Center. If you need transportation, please give Chaplain Long a call at (910)-584-9980.
What happens if I "show up" and it is "Fellowship Sunday"?
This is an easy one; You join us of course. There is always plenty of food, so please join us and "let's talk". Fellowship Sunday is normally the 3rd Sunday of each month in which we come together after Service as a Congregation and "break bread" (eat some chow!).
What do I do with my children?
Children: We have child care for babies through age 2. You can feel free to drop them off before the service in their designated area. We have trained, contracted workers ensuring the safety and well-being of our littliest Nexters!
About 1/2 way through the service we begin two Children's Church areas. There are activities for kids ages pre-k through 6th grade. These children will be able to experience a relationship with Jesus on a level they will find engaging and enjoyable.
Youth in grades 7-12 participate in the main service and typically gather with our Youth Group (Access) on Sunday evenings.
